Restorative Yoga helps ease the body and soothe the mind, creating a haven of quiet and peace. A special sequence to promote healthy spinal alignment and relaxation for the back muscles will give you the tools of resting yoga poses to help the back of the body.
By supporting the body with props we are able to relax into the yoga poses and hold them for long amounts of time. This is a passive practice focused on calming the nervous system in order to help our bodies and minds process stress. There will be guided meditation to help settle the mind into silence and stillness. Expect to leave refreshed and rested, with some helpful tips to keep your back tension free and create a self-care routine for your back. This workshop is open to yoga students of all levels and is taught in English.
